Southern Hills Winery was founded as the Iowa Wine Cooperative in 2002. It is the only wine cooperative in Iowa.

The winery is owned by 134 shareholders who are committed to producing the finest wines in Iowa using Iowa grapes purchased from our growers.

Meetings, Weddings and Banquets

Keep us in mind if you are looking for a nice facility to host a party or a meeting.

We are located 30 minutes South of Des Moines right off of Interstate 35 over the bridge from Terrible's Casino.

Our main room can accommodate 140 guests. We also can help with a caterer, a band, or you can do it all.
